The British Film Institute

BFIThe British Film Institute have four locations in the UK and required a network provider with the flexibility to provide a proactive and reactive support model for their Cisco Network, which consists of three sites serviced by Cisco Nexus 5548 Switches and 10Gig Cisco 2960S Switches. The BFI web portal and email system are load balanced, which again was designed and installed by Xoncomms, having experience of Cisco CSS, ACE and F5 LTM platforms.

Xoncomms also provides support for the BFI Solarwinds Network Management Installation as Xoncomms have Accredited Certified Solarwinds Professionasl (SCP).

Orange Business Solutions

OBSOrange Business Solutions required support for their customer "Glaxo Smithkliene Beacham". GSK have Cisco PGW and HSI platforms and OBS came to Xoncomms as we have provided support and migration services for PGW & HSI platforms at past installations such as British Airways Authority (BAA) London Heathrow Airport.

Ove Arup

ARUPXoncomms provides Design, Consultancy and Upgrade services to Ove Arup for their IP Telephony environment. ARUP's Telephony estate consisted of a Cisco Communications Manager 6.1 cluster supporting 6000 IP Phones across Europe, a Resilient ARC Operator Deployment, a Tandberg VCS Video Environment, Unity Voicemail and MicroSoft Lync. The Communication Manager Cluster comprised 5 physical MCS servers, requiring physical disk upgrades to support the move from version 6.1 to 8.6.2a. The upgrade was carried out in two phases, first moving to version 8.5, then migrating to version 8.6 which included the Redhat upgrade.

The Resilient ARC Operator Deployment was upgrade from version 5.0 to 5.1.3 and moved from physical servers to virtual servers. The SQL database however remained on box due to ARC requirements.

National Car Parks

NCPXoncomms provides NCP with IP Telephony support and professional services for their installed Cisco IP Telephone CallManager, IP Contact Centre Express and Unity VoiceMail Systems. NCP have advanced integrations with Car Parking Help Points using legacy equipment and needed to move to SIP. Xoncomms provided a Cisco CUBE (IPIPGW) solution and also integrated advanced camera control and endpoint lookup within the Contact Centre environment. Xoncomms has since provided NCP with an upgrade to CUCM 8.6 on the Cisco Unified Computing Platform (UCS), which was migrated during the winter of 2012/13.
